A great article as always... I really wish they had a better break down of the binning for the report. What's support like for people who actually contribute to state of the art.

I am Gen X. It was not an attack on Gen X, but rather the kinds of attitudes and disrespect that we have to deal with. Such as being marginalized in the media, or having Gen X opinions ignored or divvied up into other groups, diluting our voice.

Since I work in a bank (at the trading desk at the moment), I get to see all kinds of myriad stuff that the general public doesn't get to see, and I gotta tell you that I am very, very, very unhappy about what's being done to our economy. And it ain't the Gen Xers doing it, either.

Tell you what, I'll go back and insert some /sarcasm/ tags to better offset the snarks.

Wow, Ken. Usually I'm a big fan of your guest posts, but what's with the generational attack at GenX?

Especially considering they're likely to be significant part of the new/alt.space workforce. Last I checked most of MSS is Gen X.

Maybe you were trying to be clever, but it came across instead as petty and insulting, which stripped away your rhetoric about communication rather effectively.
