Jon, I'm not sure you're familiar with the cultural references - maybe you are, but just FYI in case...
* those black-background beautiful images with a large highlighted "theme" word are standard "motivational" posters - standard enough a few years back that it spawned a commercial satirical response in "Demotivators" from despair.com
* the "red shirts" in the original Star Trek series are kind of a running joke among trekkies... any episode that had people other than the usual guys beaming down, you knew the red-shirts were going to die.
But maybe I'm missing a cultural reference in your use of "sick" :-)
Arthur, Yeah, I've been following despair.com for several years now. I can't remember when I first saw it, but it was probably back in 2002. I also recognized the star trek habit of having "extras" like that be the ones who always died on away missions.
